Joint Injections Procedures
When a medium or large joint is inflamed, arthritic or causing pain, large joint injections are utilized to numb the pain, nourish the cartilage, regenerate the worn-down tissue and/or decrease the inflammation.
Commonly used medications in joint injections include, lidocaine, steroid, hyaluronic acid, regenerative medicine, or a combination of these medicines. Depending on your goals you will discuss with Dr. Adam Weitzman and decide together which course of treatment is right for you.
